“I met a homeless artist in the streets of NYC selling paintings of elephants. When I came across the only painting of a woman, I learned she was the love of his life, his wife who died of cancer. I had a lot of empathy for him because I had just split up with one of the big loves of my life as and my first band called it quits. I was heart broken. He told me he paints elephants because of his heart, as he showed me a fist size birthmark on his chest in the shape of an elephant.” - Jihae
